I am originally from Chester in England and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology in 2010. I then completed my Primary PGCE at the University of Cambridge in 2011. Following this, I taught Year 2 at a preparatory school in London whilst at the same time also spending a year completing my Master of Education at the University of Cambridge. More recently, I was the Year 5 Leader and Humanities Subject Leader at an international school in Bucharest. I have been teaching at the British International School of Washington since 2018. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, going to the theatre and volunteering with local charities.
Why do I love teaching? Teaching is extremely rewarding. I love supporting children to achieve their full potential. My aim is to inspire children to be happy, independent leaners who aim high and develop a lifelong love of learning.
