Jules Lee 2021

Year 6 Teacher

My family and I moved to Washington DC in August 2019 and feel very fortunate to have been welcomed by the BISW community. My husband is Nick Lee who you may come across in the secondary school. Our two daughters are also here with us at BISW; Jessica is moving into Year 12 and Elizabeth will be going into Year 11.

Our previous international postings include Vietnam and Malaysia and it is a privilege to be able to work in another international school. Over my career, I have taught across the age ranges and love the exciting and varied opportunities of being a primary teacher. My previous roles have included setting up Extension and Enrichment programmes and leading the scope and sequence of a whole school thinking curriculum. After many years enjoying living in South East Asia, I also now love living in DC. I love exploring the city, kayaking the Potomac and embracing the changing seasons. Next year, I hope that there will be some opportunities to include a few museum visits too. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with our Year 6 students next year and look forward to getting to know more BISW families.
