Nursery Teacher

I am excited to be starting my 13th year at the British International School of Washington. Originally from Leicester in the UK, I completed my BA in English and Drama at Aberystwyth University in Wales before completing my teacher training at Warwick University. I am incredibly excited to be working as part of our primary team this year.

One of my main interests is the Performing Arts; I look forward to sharing my love of music, dance and drama to support your child’s learning across the curriculum. I am also the Nord Anglia Education & UNICEF Regional Lead for the Americans region; I hope to bring my passion for our world into our classroom to help your child engage as a young global citizen.

My own family are very much a BISW Family; my husband, Dan, is the Site Manager at BISW and our son, Oliver, has been at our school since he was 2. Having been with Oliver through his own journey in Nursery last year, I am very much looking forward to supporting your child through their learning adventures and accomplishments in the year to come.
