He believes in making learning as fun as possible while making sure that students learn and thrive in these vital subjects.
I have lived in Washington, DC, since 2019, when I moved here with my family. I have worked in education since 1994, having taken a degree in English and Drama, and I have taught Drama and Physical Education for many years and taken on school leadership roles in schools in the UK. These subjects helped me to thrive as a teenager, gave me confidence, and armed me with vital skills I have used in my life since. I love musical theatre and have directed over 50 plays and shows to date. I have yet to find a musical to top West Side Story! In my spare time, I am a keen runner and golfer but love all sports. I'm a lifelong Crystal Palace fan and a part-time stand-up comic. (You do need a sense of humour to support Palace! I am excited to be at BISW and look forward to making a contribution to this great school.
