Tiara McMillan 2021

Learning Assistant

Tiara McMillan has 10 years of experience working with children including experience at the Montessori School of Chevy Chase and now at BISW as a teaching assistant.

I enjoy working with children. I love learning and how the brain and development in children's lives is very important. I believe there is much we can learn from children.

I have been working with children since I was 18 years old. My first job was as a summer worker In Washington DC at Lena Sears Child Development and that is when I really found my passion for children.  It was a very fun and educational experience for me.

After I left Lena Sears I furthered my education in early childhood development through online coursework and training.

I love children and I always have wanted to be a teacher. As a child I enjoyed "playing teacher" with family members.  I love what I do and I enjoy working with children because they are our future.
