Student Leadership Day

Student Leadership Day - student-leadership-day
Student Leadership Day PBIS is preparing students to become the leaders of tomorrow, to become the agents of positive change. We want our students to be ambitious to improve the world in any way they can and to shape a better future.

PBIS is preparing students to become the leaders of tomorrow, to become the agents of positive change.  We want our students to be ambitious to improve the world in any way they can and to shape a better future.

There are many opportunities at PBIS to explore and develop these leadership skills, both within the curriculum but also through activities, team sports and the organised leadership roles.  The leadership journey for PBIS students starts with the leadership day, a day of teambuilding, idea sharing, action planning and target setting.

STEAM and Juilliard Ambassadors work with the teachers to help ensure that other students have input into events and collaborations.  Student Council members give students the opportunity to put forward their ideas in constructive ways. Student-led publications such as the give students the chance to lead a complex process of compiling and editing yearbooks and other publications. House captains promote the House identity within the school and the Head of Events of Charities promotes and coordinates the many student activities and charity drives. The Head Boy and Head Girl are the spokespeople for the school, representing the school within and beyond the school community. All these activities, and more, ensure that PBIS students have significant experience in leadership.
