Juilliard-NAE Regional Music and Dance professional development course at PBIS Last weekend, PBIS hosted Juilliard-NAE Regional Music and Dance professional development course for music and dance teachers across Europe and the Middle East. The event was led by Kathryn Andersen, Violinist & Senior Curriculum Specialist, Juilliard Global K-12 Programs, and Hilary Easton, Director of Global K-12 Dance Programs and Faculty, Juilliard Dance Division.

Last weekend, PBIS hosted Juilliard-NAE Regional Music and Dance professional development course for music and dance teachers across Europe and the Middle East. 

The event was led by Kathryn Andersen, Violinist & Senior Curriculum Specialist, Juilliard Global K-12 Programs, and Hilary Easton, Director of Global K-12 Dance Programs and Faculty, Juilliard Dance Division. On Friday, teachers observed both primary and secondary students being taught activities from the Juilliard Creative Classroom in both dance and music, by internal and external teachers.  We are incredibly proud of them, as they demonstrated a willingness to learn, realising many of the Performing Arts Learner Ambitions along the way, and showed great respect for the Performing Arts.  It was really special for us to spend three days with such passionate and inspirational teaching artists.  We are refreshed and enthusiastic to return to what promises to be a great year for Performing Arts at PBIS!
