Today began with an early seminar in the lecture hall at MIT. Four scientists who study, teach and research in the fields of engineering, robotics and biology spoke to the children about their work and answered a whole range of questions.
Our workshop about holograms took place in the MIT museum and the children were taught about light, lasers and microscopes.
After lunch we went to the New England Aquarium where we were lucky enough to meet Myrtle the turtle and watch feeding time in the main tank.
The day was rounded off with a ride on an amphibious vehicle as we took the duck tour around Boston and along the Charles river.
