• Allocation of SISD ASAs

  To ensure fairness for all families, allocations will not be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • After the SISD ASA registration period ends, SISD Parent App will process all registrations.  If an activity is oversubscribed, a random selection process will be used to allocate places.
  • Each student can participate in at least one ASA, with a maximum of two activities. If your child is not automatically assigned to an ASA by the SISD Parent App, please contact asa@sisd.ae for support. 
  • To increase the likelihood of placement, select multiple preferences for activities on the same day. This will enable SchoolsBuddy to allocate your child to their second or third preference if their first choice is full.
  • Please ensure you register your child within the specified registration period, as allocations will be limited once the period has ended. After registration closes, parents who missed the deadline can contact asa@sisd.ae.  
• Allocation of STRYX Clubs

  • Allocations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis for STRYX Clubs at the time of booking. Slots are limited for each activity when booking on Classcard.
  • Please note that once payment is made for STRYX Clubs activities, participation is subject to confirmation. Activities will only proceed if the minimum required number of students is met. Should the activity be cancelled due to low registration, a full refund will be issued or the option to transfer to another available activity.
  • Once registration is confirmed, your child will be added directly to SchoolsBuddy, where you can view their activities. STRYX will send a general email to all parents prompting you to check your child’s activities on SchoolsBuddy. Please ensure there are no scheduling conflicts to avoid any confusion when the ASA begins.
  • Please ensure you register your child within the specified registration period, as allocations will be limited once the period has ended.

  After-School Care

  After-School Care is managed by our Early Years Leadership team and is offered to families with PreKG, KG1, and KG2 students who have siblings in Primary or Secondary School.

  Location
  All ASAs are located on campus. Please see schedule for exact location.

   

  Equipment / Attire
  Every child is expected to come to every lesson with the appropriate attire and equipment. Failure to do so could result in the child not being accepted in the ASA.
  This is especially true for sports ASAs for which children need to have their sports clothes and shoes.

  Attendance / Punctuality
  Every child is expected to attend every lesson of the semester and to be punctual. In case of an emergency, students/parents are expected to inform the ASA Department and the teachers.

  Rules and Regulations
  Failure to follow the ASA rules and regulations and the teachers’ / external providers’ policies may jeopardise the right of a child to participate in after-school activities.

  Key Dates

  • Term 1 SISD ASAs and STRYX Clubs commence: Monday 14th September 2026.
  • SISD & Competitive Sports ASAs will not run during PTCs, i.e. on 13th, 14th & 15th October 2026.
  • ASAs & Stryx Clubs will not be running during the Mid-term break, i.e. from 19th to 23rd October 2026.
  • Term 1 SISD ASAs and STRYX Clubs finish: Friday 11th December 2026. Please see key term dates here.
