Head of Secondary and Physics Teacher
I have worked in education since leaving university and have taught in UK State and Independent schools. I have moved to BISB from Kuala Lumpur where I was Head of Secondary in a large International School in the city.
As an educational leader in school I strive to ensure that students have outstanding learning opportunities during lessons, a plethora of enrichment activities outside the classroom and above all else the opportunity to be part of a caring, nurturing school community.
Deputy Head of Secondary
I studied BSc (Hons) Geography at the University of Leeds, and completed my teacher training through the University of Greenwich, UK. I worked as the Head of Geography and Geology for 3 years at an all-boys school in the UK before moving over to Slovakia in 2013. I love the international mindedness of working in an international school, and being part of the local community is also important to me because my husband is Slovak.

Director of Admissions and Marketing
After graduating from the Faculty of Arts in 2000, Milina had joined a small company specialising in organising international investment conferences, where she worked for two years. In September 2002 Milina joined The British International School Bratislava. At that time, the BISB was a small school and Milina was one of only two members of the administration team. During the successive four years she gained valuable experience in many fields of the school life from day-to-day business administration to admissions and marketing. Since 2006 she was responsible primarily for the Admissions, which she still thoroughly enjoys. Since 2014 as the Director of Admissions and Marketing, Milina has been working with her Marketing and Communication team on improving the communication with our parents and students, looking at different options how to show our current and prospective parents a wonderful work that our students and teachers do at school.
