Pi-Oneer Foundation is a student-led initiative aiming to provide digital education in underprivileged communities by providing necessary equipment and resources. Our goal is to partner with underprivileged schools and organisations in Bangkok that seek to teach their children digital education as part of their extracurricular activities.

We plan to provide a Raspberry Pi-400, a personal computer kit suitable for coding. The Raspberry Pi-400 is an easy-to-use device but powerful due to its quad-core 64-bit processor, 4GB of RAM, wireless networking, dual-display output, and 4K video playback.

Our resources range from providing online buddies to virtual classes. These virtual classes will soon be accessible on YouTube or by scheduling online meetings which are effective and efficient especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are also plans to host virtual coding events open to everyone of all abilities as our Senior Studies students deliver an introductory beginner course to those that sign up. More details will follow.
