On Saturday 4th March, St Andrews hosted the senior VEX VRC Robotics Thai Nationals for 36 teams from schools in Thailand and Vietnam with the aim to win a spot at the VEX World Championships in Dallas, Texas. This was a very exciting event with very competitive teams. We are proud to announce that team Matrix with Nitnem and Faye from Year 11 and Anish and Sanyam from Year 10 achieved the highest award and will be going to compete in the world championships at the end of April. We have two teams that have qualified this season for both the junior and senior world championships. A huge thank you to Mr Rob, Mr Marc, Ms Holly, Mr Jacob, Mr Sam, Mr Daniel and all of our amazing support teams for running such amazing VEX events this season.
For the last two weeks, two of our VEX teams have been in the US, competing at the VEX World Championships in Dallas.
