Our first priority is to make sure that your child is safe, nurtured, happy, and feels like they are part of a family for their two week stay.
Our residential facility is under the care of full-time House Parents and part-time Residential Assistants who ensure the health, safety and happiness of the students. They closely monitor proper behaviour and help to create a sense of community. Our goal is to ensure each student is comfortable and feels happy and engaged during the programme.
Our boarding community provides separate housing for boys and girls and all have access to common recreational areas. Students enjoy furnished rooms with twin beds, work tables and bedding. Linens, pillows, towels and blankets will be provided and will be changed weekly. Students have the option of bringing their own pillow, towels or favorite blanket, should they wish. We don't encourage them to bring their own sheets as the cleaning service will be removing the sheets weekly to launder them.
Students will experience a range of activities designed to encourage personal growth, relaxation, and a summer of new memories. All students participate in evening activities such as movie nights and Q&A with our faculty. The day-off excursion takes students on a fun-filled visit to one of the local Disney or Universal theme parks.
Three healthy and complete meals, created by Chefs and Certified Nutritionists, are served to students each day. The dining hall is on campus at the school, and is the newest addition to campus. Completed in 2017, it overlooks the football field. The dining hall includes table top, counter and booth type seating.
Please note: The programme is boarding ONLY so all students participating will be housed at Windermere Preparatory School.
