We hope you had a lovely summer break and a special warm welcome to all of our new TBS staff and families.
To help you settle in, we will update our PTA LIVING IN WARSAW GUIDE for new and returning families.
PTA COMMITTEE & EVENTS
The PTA Committee are very much looking forward to an exciting school year ahead, please see the attached poster so you know who is on the team. The Committee meets every month to plan the events for students, parents and staff. Our PTA EVENTS CALENDAR is available under this LINK and please note we have Welcome coffee mornings on both campuses next week. You are always welcome to join us for a quick coffee and a chat, and we usually also have English language books to buy/swap too.
PTA SECOND-HAND UNIFORM SHOP
In case you get asked or have uniform needs, the PTA second-hand uniform shop will be open as follows:
Limanowskiego Campus
From next week, we will open each Monday morning 8-8:30am. Additional shifts may be added if needed, please check our Facebook page for updates.
Dabrowskiego Campus
Uniform stock will be kept on campus and can be purchased via Pani Ania in the Dab office (CASH ONLY, NO RETURNS!)
CLASS FRIENDS
Please note that the Class Friends network is only running on our DAB campus. At DAB, each class will have a designated parent volunteer as a Class Friend. The Class Friend will reach out to all families in their class via the teacher and will help us collect the Class Fund that we use each year for Christmas presents for when Santa visits our youngest pupils on St Nicholas’ Day, 6th December.
The Class Friend network is no longer running at LIM.
Teacher appreciation gifts for all teaching staff on both campuses for Teachers’ Day, Christmas and end of the school year are all covered from the PTA Uniform shop income so there is no need for separate class fund collections. Please share this information in your Parent meet & greet sessions and Teams calls this/next week. If any parent needs to get in touch with us, they can do so via emailing us at ptachair.tbs@gmail.com
