Itinerary
The Global Games is an exciting five-day program packed with sports competitions, exciting activities, and the chance to make new friends from Nord Anglia’s schools across the region. The program is designed to enable your child to thrive in an atmosphere of ambition, sportsmanship, and teamwork while enjoying some of Orlando's most popular attractions.
Day 1: Welcome to Orlando – Arrival, Dinner & Opening Ceremonies
Students will arrive in Orlando throughout the day. In the evening, participants will enjoy an exciting experience at Universal CityWalk, the vibrant entertainment hub of Universal Orlando Resort. Known for its mix of dining, shopping, and live entertainment, CityWalk offers something for everyone.
Dinner will be hosted at Margaritaville, a tropical-themed restaurant inspired by the music and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett. The venue will be reserved exclusively for our group, offering a relaxed and festive atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal together.
Following dinner, students will gather at the CityWalk Lagoon stage for the highly anticipated Global Games Opening Ceremonies — a spectacular kickoff filled with energy, celebration, and unforgettable moments.
Day 2: Game On – First Day of Competitions & Disney Springs Evening
On the first day of competitions at Windermere Preparatory School, your child will kick off their Global Games experience with exciting sporting events. That evening, they’ll visit Disney Springs—an open-air destination at Walt Disney World Resort known for shopping, dining, and entertainment, including the Coca-Cola Store, Super Hero Headquarters, and the world’s largest Disney store.
Dinner will be held at Planet Hollywood, a four-story restaurant filled with iconic movie memorabilia and music from a live DJ. Reserved exclusively for our group, the venue offers an immersive, high-energy dining experience with classic American cuisine.
Day 3: Sports & Cinema – Competitions Continue & Universal Studios Adventure
Competitions continue at Windermere Preparatory School in the morning. In the afternoon, students will head to Universal Studios Florida, one of the world’s premier movie-based theme parks. They’ll enjoy immersive attractions and thrilling rides such as Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Men in Black: Alien Attack, Revenge of the Mummy, Diagon Alley, Transformers, and The Simpsons.
Participants will receive a Universal gift card to enjoy dinner at any of the park’s dining options, allowing them to choose a meal that suits their taste while soaking in the cinematic atmosphere.
Day 4: Championship Day – Final Games, Awards & Islands of Adventure

The championship games will take place in the morning, followed by a closing awards ceremony in the early afternoon. After the celebrations, students will explore Universal’s Islands of Adventure—where stories and legends come to life.
Highlights include Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™, and the Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Students will receive a Universal gift card for dinner and enjoy the immersive surroundings at their leisure.
Day 5: Farewell – Departure & Travel Home
Students and chaperones will be transported from the hotel to the airport via coach or bus. All departure times will be pre-arranged according to each school’s flight schedule.
