Sam James

Northbridge International School Cambodia - Sam

Primary EAL Teacher

Sam James graduated a BA in English in 2005. He worked in various schools across South East Asia, before settling in Cambodia in late 2007.

  • TESOL Trainer Certificate, INTESOL WorldWide, Thailand

After completing his BA,  Sam travelled to Thailand where he worked for the Andrew Biggs Academy. After gaining a years’ experience, he was then offered a position in Phnom Penh.

He has completed various contracts over the past decade such as, teaching language acquisition, project management, and directing a TESOL training centre. He went on to become a certified TESOL trainer, and trained both native and non-native teachers.

Sam is married with two children, and enjoys mountain bike riding at weekends with the family, visiting different provinces, and generally immersing in the local culture.
