In school, students have continued to enjoy their new topics and parents had the opportunity to learn about these at our Meet the Teacher evenings on Monday and Tuesday.
After our summer break, it was wonderful to finally welcome new students and their parents from Year 1 to Year 13 to the New Students’ Induction Day this Tuesday.
Sasu Do Quynh Ngoc (Graduated in 2020) and Nguyen Ngoc Tuan Dung (Y13) were President and Vice President of BVIS Debating club last year, respectively. Recently, Tuan Dung has been selected for the Vietnam National Debate Team. He will be representing the country at the 2020 World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC). We are pleased to announce on Friday 24th April, the Maths department will be hosting the first ever NAE Online Maths Competition for students in Vietnam.
One of our Year 8 Students Nguyen Van Khue entered the NAE Global Campus Creative Writing Competition. Her poem 'A Box of Memories' is one of two 'Highly Commended' stories in the 11-14 Age Group.
