I relocated to Charlotte in July 2016, shortly after receiving my MBA in Business Management from Averett University in Hampton Roads, Virginia. I was born in Virginia and had lived there all of my life; my husband and I felt this was an opportune time to relocate as I began exploring career opportunities. Our 3 children were enthusiastic about the move and are transitioning quite smoothly.
My personal passions are my family, faith and music! My path has been non-traditional, as I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees while raising my children and working full-time. During those years, I worked as a church secretary, a child-care center office administrator, a receptionist at a college, and most recently as a quality control specialist for a regional construction company. Together these experiences have helped me to develop strong interpersonal skills and to remain flexible.
I appreciate The British International Schools's diverse population and have observed the quality education and unique opportunities the school offers its students. I enjoy suporting the school's mission through my interaction with faculty, administrators, parents and students.
