MUN Conference

MUN Conference At the end of Term 1, BIS Abu Dhabi students took part in an online MUN (Model United Nations) conference. Secondary students at BIS Abu Dhabi have the opportunity to join MUN (Model United Nations).

At the end of Term 1, BIS Abu Dhabi students took part in an online MUN (Model United Nations) conference. The students were asked to research a topic and country in order to take part in the conference, which ran over two days.

Everybody who participated were a credit to the school, and several BIS students won extra awards for their outstanding contributions:

• Owen – Best speaker award
• Safa – honourable mention for delegate qualities
• Younes - honourable mention for delegate qualities

The objective of the Model United Nations is to seek, through discussion, negotiation and debate, solutions to the various problems of the world.
