Born to be Wild STEAM Festival

Born to be Wild STEAM Festival BIS Abu Dhabi students from Years 6 - 8 have been selected to be involved in the 2021 Nord Anglia 'Born to be Wild' STEAM Festival, taking place on Thursday, 27th May – Saturday, 29th May.  BIS Abu Dhabi students from Years 6 - 8 have been selected to be involved in the 2021 Nord Anglia 'Born to be Wild' STEAM Festival, taking place on Thursday, 27th May – Saturday, 29th May. 

The 2021 virtual Nord Anglia STEAM Festival, hosted by NAS Dubai, is all about understanding the plight of endangered animals and educating people through creating products that create an impact and prevent further  loss of biodiversity.

Students will work in teams from school and within this team, they will have  to complete set missions which all add to the final product the team will produce. The  collaborative part of the project will take place through Microsoft Teams, where each team  will have their own dedicated channel. Organisation will be the key, and each student will be given specific job roles for the challenge. 

This virtual festival is focused on collaboration which encourages students to work together, learn new skills and showcase their talents whilst helping develop their ways of doing, being and thinking.
