Is your child a picky eater? This is not uncommon especially for younger children. Melanie Yates gives parents some advice on how you can change your child's anxiety and frustrations towards food into a positive eating experience.

Last week was the English department’s favourite time of the year: Book Week! We had an incredibly positive and rewarding week and the atmosphere in the school was incredible.

New students seem to be coping well with the high standards that we set in the quality of work that they produce both in the classroom and at home.

Reading is one practice, that can improve everybody’s English level. We are looking forward to the secondary Book Week, when students will be involved in a range of activities, that will inspire them to delve into the extraordinary world of the written word.

The Progress Check Tests are formal tests that are completed throughout the year in order to establish how well each student is doing and provide opportunities for support afterwards in a more personalised way. In addition to this it helps prepare the students for the upcoming challenges of their IGCSE or IB external examinations.

It is looking to be another exciting year filled with applications to all parts of the globe. I am confident with the strength of the International Baccalaureate Diploma and our own BIS Hanoi Diploma that our Year 13s will be just as successful as last year’s graduates in finding the right university for them.
