“Leading through empowerment” – Amazing speech from our Head Boy & Head Girl On Friday morning, Trung Tien Tran and Valerie Lua – our Head Boy & Head Girl – made their first speech in front of Secondary students as well as teachers. The whole auditorium was inspired by their speech and we are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with new changes in the Student Leadership structure.

On Friday morning, Trung Tien Tran and Valerie Lua – our Head Boy & Head Girl – made their first speech in front of Secondary students as well as teachers. The whole auditorium was inspired by their speech and we are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with new changes in the Student Leadership structure. 

After a short video about leadership, Trung Tien Tran and Valerie Lua started their speech in front of a cheering crowd. They introduced themselves, told stories of their journey to become BIS Hanoi’s first-ever Head Boy & Head Girl and ended with their promises to the student community. They addressed that the student voice is important at BIS Hanoi and, as Head Boy & Head Girl, they will assure that the school experience is enjoyable to every student.

The speech was a reflection of their confident and empathetic personalities and showed that this school year will be one filled with new and exciting activities!
