I joined BIS Hanoi in August 2026, having taught for 12 years in an inner-London comprehensive. My experience means that I have taught pupils from diverse backgrounds and have always welcomed the opportunity to help all pupils develop their skills to become budding historians.

I have gained a broad range of experience across different aspects of school life, both within the history department but also through a wealth of pastoral work. I have also been very fortunate to have had the experience of being a charity trustee and school governor. I am thrilled to be able to lead the Humanities department at BIS Hanoi.

In my free time I love to travel, especially with my partner and two young children. I can also be found reading a book, cooking or going to the gym.
