Beaver Computing Challenge
Beaver Computing Challenge
The Beaver Computing Challenge (BCC) introduces computer science to students. It is designed to get students with little or no previous experience excited about computing.
The BCC is a problem solving contest with a focus on computational and logical thinking. Questions are inspired by topics in computer science but only require comfort with concepts found in mathematics curriculum.
This year we have, for the first time, participated in this competition organised by the university of Waterloo in Canada. We had 7 students taking the IGCSE Computer Science enrichment activity participating. All of them did amazingly well, but Louis Mignot (Y11) and Kang Hyuk Kim (Y10) have achieved a certificate of distinction for completing the mind bending tasks well ending up in the top 25% of all the participants.
You very well deserve this congrats for your hard work and dedication.
Congratulations on your success.
