On Friday a group of Nursery children went to their Forest School session in the local forest, with the intention of making and drinking hot chocolate at the end of the session. However, their challenge was to find a way to do it without using the tripod that had been forgotten in the Nursery!
As always, the Nursery children were very keen to help solve the problem and worked together to build a fire, and used their upper body strength to collect the surrounding rocks to form a kind of stove. In the end, they were able to make the hot chocolate, and the extra effort required meant that it was even tastier!
