Applying to Oxford and Cambridge

If you are an exceptional student you may want to consider applying to Oxford or Cambridge. Competition for places is extremely tough and simply being ambitious is not enough. 

• If you have IGCSEs you should have all A and A* grades. You should be achieving 40+ points at IB and you should also be able to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and strong thinking skills in your chosen subject beyond the level of the IB syllabus.
• You apply through UCAS as an Early Applicant before 15th October. 
• You can apply to either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Both universities have a college system and you can apply to specific colleges or an open application.
• Both Oxford and Cambridge interview prospective students. You will really need to 'shine' at the interview to have any chance.
