Nord Anglia Summer Professional Development Training with Juilliard in NYC
Nord Anglia Summer Professional Development Training with Juilliard in NYC Nord Anglia Education teaching staff are ready to bring those wonderful concepts from the Juilliard School PD training back to our students.

Teaching staff from around the NAE family have spent the past week in NYC at Juilliard PD training learning about how they can develop their own teaching artistry and embody the truly unique nature of the collaboration. Teachers took part in a whole host of workshops lead by staff from Juilliard and NAE ( including our very own Director of Performing Arts Rachel White-Hunt who is one of two curriculum fellows for the collaboration).

We were also very lucky to work with names like Tito Munoz ( Music Director of the Phoenix Symphony), Eric Booth ( awarded nations highest award in Arts education) Tom Cabaniss (  Teacher of composition at Juilliard), Jean Taylor ( Drama teacher at Juilliard) and Hilary Easton ( Dancer teacher at Juilliard) to name but a few.

Everyone involved left the PD deeply inspired and ready to bring theses wonderful concepts back to our students. The program now see's in its third year in our NAE schools.

For further information about the collaboration and what it means for our students here at BISW please contact Rachel White-Hunt (Rachel.Whitehunt@biswashington.org) Keep an eye out for details regarding parent sessions running this term exploring the Juilliard creative classroom.
