BISW students shine thanks to stellar IGCSE results Congratulations to our students on their outstanding IGCSE results this year!

For another year running, British International School of Washington (BISW) students' results have exceeded the UK average IGCSEs (International GCSE) with 33% of students achieving 10 or more A*- A grades, with one student achieving a perfect 11 A*grades.

'These exceptional results are the culmination of the hard work and dedication of our students, our ambitious approach and the support of our excellent teachers. On behalf of our school community, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our teachers for always inspiring and challenging our students to achieve more than what they may have thought possible.,' said Ian Piper, Principal of BISW.

IGCSEs are some of the most academically challenging courses currently on offer to 14-16 year old students worldwide. They are respected by universities and employers and offer students the opportunity to study a broad range of subjects in preparation for further study aged 16-18 through the International Baccalaureate Diploma program.

The continued success in our IGCSE results is a testament to British International School of Washington’s high academic standards, excellent teaching and the hard work and dedication of students.
