We are proud to share that our students at the British International School of Washington achieved exceptional results in this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
For the 2019 - 2020 academic school year, BISW achieved a pass rate of 100%. There were 34 students in the graduating class and the average score was 36.1, well above the global average score of 29.9 points. 5 students earned a score of 40 or higher.
The school is thrilled that hard work in IB courses has paid off for the class of 2020 with admissions into universities, such as American University, Imperial College London, UCL, and University of Edinburgh.
As a family of schools, Nord Anglia schools recorded an average diploma score of 33 points out of 45, well above the global average score of 29.9 points. Nord Anglia also had a 94% diploma pass rate in its IB schools, which is significantly above the global average of 77.4% last year. This marks seven years of our global family exceeding average scores.
