The fundamental components of our primary students’ curriculum are English, science and maths. In Years 1-4, these are complemented by a range of subjects, including computing, geography, history, and art and design. In Year 5, students follow a more defined timetable that prepares them for secondary school.

Teaching is personalised to embrace individual passions and ambitions. Lessons are lively, challenging and engaging, giving your child plenty of opportunities to think critically and independently.

Picking up a second (or third!) language is important, too, and we support our students to learn German, Spanish or Mandarin. Both in and beyond the classroom, your child will play sports, learn a musical instrument, take to the stage, and volunteer on community outreach programmes.

Our curriculum is a flexible, interdisciplinary programme, which focuses on subject, personal and international learning goals. It enables our students to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding through exciting and meaningful units of work and the core subjects.  These include maths, science, languages, art, society, geography, history, technology, music and PE.

Our lower secondary (Key Stage 3) students follow a tailored version of the English National Curriculum. By taking the best elements of this world-renowned curricula and combining them with themes that fit our local and international context, we deliver innovative, challenging and creative programmes.

Students study English, maths, science, geography, history, drama, music, art, graphic communication, digital technology and PE. A lot of their learning is done through projects, where students either study individually or in groups, exploring themes that encompass multiple subjects. This multidisciplinary approach teaches students to think 'outside the box’.

As part of our mission to develop truly global citizens, our students also choose to study two languages.

All our IGCSE students study English language and literature, maths, and science. Students also choose four subjects from a range of options, which include geography, history, ICT, computing, business studies, Spanish, German, Chinese, music, drama, art, photography and PE. We encourage our students to follow their strengths and interests – and think about their short and long-term futures.

Our students typically study seven or eight subjects. This prepares them for A-levels, as well as giving them plenty of time for enriching artistic, physical, and social responsibility activities.

In Years 12 and 13, students delve deeper into their chosen subjects. As they prepare for university entrance – and start thinking about careers – they become specialists in their fields, typically studying three or four A-level courses. Subjects include English, maths, science, history, geography, computing, business studies, music, drama, art, and languages.

We also help your child to choose and apply for university. This includes keeping an eye on their progress, suggesting areas for academic and personal development, and guiding your family through the application process.
