Our IGCSE curriculum
In 2021, we won Pearson’s coveted Pioneer of the Year Award in recognition of the high quality IGCSE courses we offer – and the innovative approach of our academic team.
All our IGCSE students study English language and literature, maths, and science. Students also choose four subjects from a range of options, which include geography, history, ICT, computing, business studies, Spanish, German, Chinese, music, drama, art, photography and PE.
Choosing the right subjects is so important. We encourage our students to follow their strengths and interests – and think about their short and long-term futures. We’ll guide your child through the options.
Our students typically study seven or eight subjects. This prepares them for A-levels, as well as giving them plenty of time for enriching artistic, physical, and social responsibility activities.
Outstanding academic outcomes
In 2021, 95% of our IGCSE students achieved 5 A*-C grades. This compares to the UK average of 67%. And in the last three years, two of our students have achieved the highest IGCSE language scores in the world.
