Message from Sports Department We are pleased to announce the restart of some of our after-school Foxes sport teams.

We are pleased to announce the restart of some of our after-school Foxes sport teams.

Training for various teams will begin from next Monday November 9th.

As we will not be travelling or participating in any external competitions in the coming weeks the focus of these after school sport teams will be:

  • To provide engaging and enjoyable training sessions that continue to promote our student’s participation in extra-curricular sport so that when we are able to resume travel to competitions and fixtures, our students have participated in team sport and practising during this time

Training sessions will be run by teachers and there are no additional costs for your child’s participation in these activities. Registration is simple and is to be done electronically;

  • Please scan the QR code below and choose the teams your child will be joining.
  • Please complete the required information.
  • You will receive a confirmation email confirming your child’s registration (please check your spam/junk box if you do not think you have received this).

Students will need to be picked up from school at 5pm by parents.

As we will not be participating in any external competitions, Foxes kit is not mandatory (though it is encouraged) and students are very welcome to participate in PE kit. However, if you would like to buy additional items of Foxes kit, these can be purchased from our in-school Foxes shop (payment only via WeChat / Alipay).

With the exception of swimming, training sessions are open to all eligible students who register to participate. For our swimming team, students who participated in our Foxes SSL swim team in 2019-2020 do not need to try out and are invited to restart training from Monday November 16th. You will still need to register via the QR code (above) so that we can coordinate buses and registers for after school swim training. For all new students or students who are now hoping to join our swim team, a tryout will be required and if you are successful an invitation will be given to you to join our swim team. We hope to at least be able to participate in some SSL virtual swim meets in the new year.

The schedule will change again for the new year in January, but we believe it is important we get out after school sport provision restarted as soon as possible as we know many of our students, parents and staff have missed these in recent months.
