The group community activities of Hogan Lovells  International Law Firm was sucessfully held in the Sports Hall in the Secondary Building, on 16 September 2017. The event was an opportunity for representatives from the HL law firms in the Middle East and Asia regions,to come together in teambuilding with a difference, making bookshelves for underprivileged children and in acapella choir singing.

Two months before the event, BVIS and Hogans had cooperated well with the support from both companies, and more than 100 lawyers from Hogan Lovells had assembled. Representatives from the firm had offered over $1000 and 30 beautiful bookcases to the Mountainous Underprivileged Student Fund  (under “Com co thit” program) to support for students’ library.

Mr. Mark Sayer, ourPrincipal and BVIS staff also attended the event. He said “This Hogan Lovells event has impressed me greatly, and we are grateful at BVIS Hanoi for the meaningful impact it has made on all of us. The staff were skillful and creative, and had a lot of fun in the process. This event certainly inspires me to promote community activities as a form of staff team building in the future”.

Ms Winnie Ng, Hogan Lovells representativefor their community service projects said: “We are very grateful and delighted that the event was successfully organized, thanks to the significant support from BVIS to us, financially as well as in time and effort by the school’s staff. We hope that in the near future, BVIS and Hogan Lovells will coordinate together again and we can have more cooperative events and promotions for the benefit of the community and wider society.”
