Dear Parents,

As you may by now be aware, sadly, Do Hanh An (Anna), our former student passed away last week. Our school community, including some of Anna’s teachers, students, local staff and I visited and sent our last farewells to this extraordinary girl and to share in our support of Anna’s family.

The Give Asia campaign, ‘Anna’s Journey to Live’ run by the family, has and will remain an inspiration to us. We could never forget her courage, creativity and optimism when fighting her condition. Last month, when we knew of the further need for treatment, our school teachers and students planned to hold a Charity Jumble Sale for Anna on Friday, 15th November. Some donations have already come in in cash form – we thank you most sincerely for these gifts.  They will be forwarded to the charity.   Even though Anna is no longer with us, we have decided to continue with the charity event. Money raised from the fair will be donated to Anna's family together with the kindness of all benefactors. We hope that these small contributions will to some degree help to cover her remaining hospital and surgery costs, or be redistributed to others within the charity who are in need and suffering from the same illness. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with Anna’s family, that they may be comforted through this difficult time.
