Secondary Weekly Update (02/12-06/12) We are so enjoyed this week with the wonderful performances that the cast and crew of this year’s musical production “Alice in Wonderland” have brought to all audiences.

Alice in Wonderland Performance

We are so enjoyed this week with the wonderful performances that the cast and crew of this year’s musical production “Alice in Wonderland” have brought to all audiences. The show has been a triumph with stunning individual and group acting and singing performances. In order to get to this point, the students have had to work so hard with the coach form Ms. Neina – Head of Musics and Jessica – Head of Drama. Thanks to those who have involved in this production for their excellent work and devotion.

On Tuesday 3rd December, we organized a “Take Over Day” ceremony to present certificates to those who had involved in recognition for their extraordinary achievement in running BVIS Hanoi for one day.

Parliament

This week the student parliament have been doing some fantastic work for the school. The ministry of events has been drumming up Christmas spirit running secret Santa and a Christmas film. The ministry of brains has been designing a revision session to support and challenge year 12 on the work that they have done so far in their first term of A-levels. VEP Ministry have been collaborating with marketing to improve how students are rewarded for their efforts in school. Positive achievement points can soon be traded for BVIS merchandise including a hoody also designed by students. In other work, Students have also been helping design the new school uniform that is planned for next year.

Last Week of Term

Next week is our last week of term, before we break for the Christmas holidays.

On Wednesday 11 December:

We will be holding our annual student-run Christmas Market from 1-3pm. This is always a terrific event and we are hoping to pass the staggering amount that was raised for charity last year. Please do come along and support.

KS4 Boys Basketball v ISV @BVIS (Secondary and Primary)

Please note that next Friday, the last day of term, we will finish after an early lunch time. Buses will leave school at 12:30pm and all students must be away from the school site by 1:00pm.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
