Dear Parents,
We have been entrusted by you to be your partners in the development of your children into the best people they can become. At BVIS, we believe all members of our community should be capable of exercising leadership in different contexts because the more leadership is encouraged, the more it flourishes.
Leadership is a skill for life, and we ensure all students have regular opportunities to be involved and strengthen their skills. Available roles include School Council years 2 to 6; Eco Warriors for years 3 and 4; Sports Leaders for years 4 to 6; Student Ambassadors for years 5 and 6; we also select two House Captains per house from Year 6.
In last week's assembly, we made many pupils into student leaders. Those who gained positions of leadership were selected from among those who sent in a video saying which role they would like and explaining why they believed they should be chosen. Please see the attached file below for the full details of our new student leaders.
If your child has not taken up a role this time, hopefully, they will be ready next year. The opportunity will still be there to grow into.
