Early Years & Primary Weekly Updates (20/3 - 24/3) Weekly letter from Head of Primary - Mr Malcolm Wood

Dear Parents

We have reached the end of another fun-packed learning-rich term. Our hard-working teachers will take a well-earned break now, and be ready for the activity of Term 3, starting on 10th April.

The excitement will start straight away for years 4 to 6, with their residential trips going out on Tuesday 11th April!

The following week, on the 21st of April, we will celebrate World Book Day. So that more children can enjoy books on this special day, Year 5 have decided to organise a book donation to a local school. If you can, please help your children to find suitable books to bring in and donate.

To encourage our students to read over the holidays, we will also have an extreme reading competition. Please help your children to take a photograph while they are reading in a strange place – on the beach, upside down, on the moon.

And finally, on the day, as part of our celebrations, we would like our students to come dressed up as their favourite book characters.

Thank you for your help.

I hope you have a lovely Easter holiday with your children.

Kind regards,
Malcolm Wood (Mr.)
Head of Primary
