To launch their IPC topic “We Are What We Eat,” Year 1 students planted seeds and began learning where food comes from. Over the coming weeks, they will care for their plants, observe changes, and record growth—developing responsibility, curiosity, and understanding of healthy living.

In Year 2, children started the term by sharing holiday experiences through photos and discussion. They then turned these ideas into short recounts, strengthening their ability to organise ideas and write about real-life events.

In Year 3, pupils launched their new topic “Temples, Tombs and Treasures” with great enthusiasm. They explored life in Ancient Egypt, learning about different jobs and how society was structured.
They developed a clear understanding of the social pyramid and how roles and power shaped daily life, showing strong curiosity and thoughtful discussion.

In Year 4, pupils began their “Active Planet” unit by setting up a disaster relief centre. Working collaboratively, they recorded information, treated “injuries,” and created safe spaces for victims.
This hands-on experience developed teamwork, empathy, and problem-solving skills in a meaningful real-world context.

In Year 5, as part of their new IPC topic “The Human Body,” pupils explored the five senses, focusing on hearing.
In preparation for a visit from Nhan Chinh School for Deaf Children, they have been learning sign language—building empathy, communication skills, and a strong sense of inclusion.

In Year 6, pupils launched their “Fairgrounds” unit by learning and performing magic tricks.
This engaging entry point boosted confidence, encouraged problem-solving, and strengthened communication skills as pupils explained and demonstrated their tricks to others.
