Discover BVIS Hanoi’s record-breaking 2026 A Level results, strong cohort performance and outstanding achievements across key subjects.

BVIS Hanoi is proud to celebrate another exceptional year of A Level achievement, with the Class of 2026 delivering record-breaking results for the third consecutive year.

This year:
• 47% of grades were A*–A – equal to our best-ever result
• 74% were A*–B – our best-ever result
• 86% were A*–C – our second-best-ever result

Nearly three quarters of all A Level examinations achieved A*–B grades, reflecting both strong individual performances and consistently high outcomes across the cohort.

Record-Breaking Results, Three Years Running

At BVIS Hanoi, strong academic results are not one-off achievements.

Our A Level results have remained strong year after year, reaching new highs for three consecutive years. More importantly, academic achievement is seen across the whole cohort, rather than being concentrated among a small number of high-performing students.

This consistency reflects a structured learning journey built over time. Clear academic expectations, regular progress tracking, personalised support and close guidance allow teachers to understand how each student is developing and respond when additional challenge or support is needed.

Progress is never defined by a single year. Every stage of learning builds on the last, creating a continuous picture of how far students have come and where they are ready to go next.

Well Above the England Average

The strength of this year’s results becomes even clearer when placed alongside the 2026 England average.

At BVIS Hanoi, 47% of A Level grades were A*–A, compared with 28% in England. At A*–B, BVIS Hanoi achieved 74%, compared with 56% in England, while 86% of grades were A*–C, compared with 78% in England.

At the highest grade band alone, BVIS Hanoi’s A*–A result stands almost 19 percentage points above the England average.

These comparisons provide important context. Strong results matter, but consistent results across a cohort and over time provide a clearer picture of academic quality.

Outstanding Results Across Subjects

This year’s overall results are supported by exceptional achievement across a number of A Level subjects.

In Geography, 100% of grades achieved A*–A, while 90% of Chemistry grades were A*–A.

Further Mathematics also delivered particularly strong outcomes, with:
• 100% achieving A*–B
• 82% achieving A*–A

These results form part of BVIS Hanoi’s accelerated Mathematics pathway, where selected students complete the full A Level Mathematics course one year early in Year 12 before progressing to Further Mathematics in Year 13.

This year’s accelerated Mathematics cohort achieved:
• 90% A*–A in A Level Mathematics*
• 100% A*–B in A Level Mathematics

The pathway builds on an already strong track record. Last year, 100% of students completing A Level Mathematics one year early achieved A*–A. One student later received Cambridge International recognition as Top in the World for A Level Mathematics after achieving a perfect score of 250/250.

From accelerated learning to consistently strong cohort outcomes, these results show what can happen when students are given the right level of challenge, expert teaching and the opportunity to progress at a pace that matches their potential.

When Grades Become Options

Strong academic outcomes create more choices for what comes next.

The Class of 2026 has already secured 195 university offers from 131 universities across 12 countries, including offers from University College London (UCL), King’s College London, University of Toronto, University of British Columbia and University of Melbourne.

Students are progressing to universities across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Korea, Switzerland and other destinations, pursuing pathways that reflect their individual strengths, interests and ambitions.

University offers are never the starting point. They are the result of years of consistent learning, academic guidance and strong achievement.

Every result represents more than a grade. It reflects a journey that has been built over time.

This Is a School of Outcomes

At BVIS Hanoi, outcomes are never accidental.

They are built through clear expectations, structured support, strong teaching and a learning journey designed to help each student make visible, sustained progress.

Three consecutive years of record-breaking A Level results, strong outcomes across the cohort and pathways to leading universities around the world provide clear evidence of that approach.
