This Saturday, 19th September, students from BVIS are hosting an Art Auction in aid of Chamellia Project which raises funds for schools in rural areas. This auction has been entirely organised by students and will be a fantastic event.
You are warmly invited to join us in the PAC Auditorium from 2pm - 4pm on Saturday.
Introducing our Subject Ambassadors
We are delighted to introduce our new Subject Ambassadors for the 2026–27 academic year. Following a competitive interview process, these students have been selected to take on an exciting leadership role, working alongside teachers to promote their subjects and help make learning at BVIS even more engaging and inspiring.
Our Subject Ambassadors will support department events, subject clubs and competitions, help promote their subjects at open evenings, and create presentations to share their enthusiasm with students across different year groups. They will also have opportunities to mentor younger students and act as positive role models, sharing their knowledge, experiences and passion for learning.
Importantly, our ambassadors will also help ensure that student voice is heard. They will gather feedback from students and work with teachers to help shape and improve lessons, the curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities.
We are particularly excited about the opportunity this role provides for students to develop their own leadership, communication and teamwork skills, while encouraging a real sense of passion and curiosity across our school community.
We look forward to seeing our Subject Ambassadors make their mark this year and to celebrating the positive contribution they will make to learning at BVIS!
