Hannah has a joint English Literature and Linguistics degree from the University of York. She really enjoyed the elements of her degree which focused on bilingualism and modern literature.
After graduating, Hannah completed the Teach First Graduate Programme, where she received a PGDE in Education Leadership in Learning, and taught English Literature and the English Language in the North East of England.
Hannah joined BVIS in 2020. Since arriving, she has developed a love for Vietnamese culture and is embracing the challenges and opportunities that come with international teaching. She is currently completing a masterís degree in International Education with Kings College London and is appreciating the opportunities to reflect on her practice in line with current research. She is particularly interested in how to develop an intercultural English Literature curriculum which promotes Vietnamese identity and culture.
