Philippe de Korodi
Head of School
Philippe joined Collège Champittet as Head of School in 2015, having formerly been a student at our school. With a rich and varied career in high profile roles across the world, Philippe’s educational approach centres around a commitment to society, strong values, and a determination to prepare our students for success in a globalised world.
Philippe de Korodi
A student at Collège Champittet from 1976 to 1982, Philippe proudly returned as Head of School in March 2015.
Philippe has a Master’s in Law from the University of Lausanne, as well as a postgraduate diploma in International Relations from the London School of Economics (LSE). In 2021, he achieved a Certificate in Educational Management and Leadership from Harvard. A native French speaker, Philippe is also fluent in English, and enjoys finessing his Greek and German skills.
Philippe’s unique career spans many sectors and countries. He has worked as a delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in marketing with Nestlé, and held senior positions at prestigious companies in Switzerland, including CEO of Chocolats et Cacaos Favarger and Caran d’Ache (luxury writing instruments and art material).
As Head of School atCollège Champittet, Philippe uses his operational, communication, and people skills to create a purpose-driven community that aspires to excellence. His educational philosophy is underpinned by a global outlook, family values, and a passion to make a real difference.
Geraldine Boland
Head of Primary
Geraldine has more than 30 years’ teaching and leadership experience – including 16 years as Deputy Director of Brillantmont – garnered in UK and European schools. Passionate about creating a positive and joyful family atmosphere on our primary section, Geraldine ensures our younger children have everything they need to flourish.
Geraldine Boland
After beginning her career in London – where she taught both maths and geography – Geraldine worked in schools across the UK and Europe.
Geraldine joined the Collège Champittet staff team in 2022. Truly passionate about pre-school and primary education, she leads our talented team of teachers and staff on our primary section.
Working as one, they create a safe and stimulating environment for our children. By getting to know each student – and understanding their emerging strengths, interests, and needs – Geraldine and her team ensure that everyone has the support, care, and attention they need to thrive.
Geraldine is also a firm believer in the importance of strong relationships – and excellent communication – with you, our parents.
Amanda Gardiner
Academic Director and Head of Secondary - International Baccalaureate
With professional teaching and leadership experience in all three of our diplomas, Amanda leads the International Baccalaureate with a strong understanding of all our programmes. Academically, Amanda believes that emphasising student agency from an early age is essential to academic excellence.

Amanda spent her childhood in New Zealand, moving to Switzerland to complete her university studies at the University of Geneva. She joined Champittet in 2023.
With professional teaching and leadership experience in all three of our diplomas, Amanda leads the International Baccalaureate with a strong understanding of all our programmes. Academically, Amanda believes that emphasising student agency from an early age is essential to academic excellence and that education should provide both academic and life skills for our students to accompany on their journey towards adulthood.
Partially thanks to a love of music and the performing arts, Amanda has a keen interest in a creative approaches to teaching and learning. Her ambition is for every student to develop and share their passions.

At Collège Champittet, our staff harness the transformative power of technology to create exhilarating learning experiences.
Learning here, your child will become a digital native who can engineer robots, model data, code, design, and programme, and communicate effectively online. We’ll also teach them to use technology thoughtfully and responsibly, balancing the demands of our digitalised world with real-life experiences and wellbeing.
They’ll also develop a profound understanding of how tech can be used for the greater good. On our Global Campus learning platform, for example, they’ll collaborate with Nord Anglia students across borders, taking part in exciting projects that expand their knowledge of international issues.
