‘Temple, Tombs and Treasures’ project explores Ancient Egyptian life
As part of our ‘Temple, Tombs and Treasures’ project last term, each class in Year 3 chose to research about a particular area of Ancient Egyptian life. The children discovered a wide range of interesting information such as who was the first pharaoh to rule Egypt, what kind of houses Ancient Egyptians lived in, what food and drink they consumed and even what they did with their dead!
As well as carrying out research at home, the children found at more at school in their project lessons and presented their findings through posters, artwork and written reports. To encompass all of their learning each class planned, rehearsed and recorded their part of a film which we have now put together to form this fascinating documentary about the Ancient Egyptians.

Year 3 Class Teacher
Our Year 7 students went on two amazing trips to Sibu Island, Malaysia, for their year group residential. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersed in a vibrant new culture, students had the chance to connect with their friends and make memories that will last forever.
