Informative and entertaining assembly highlighting on labelling types of people and the idea of 'status-quo'
Classes 9C and 9I joined forces to produce the Secondary School assembly last week. The students wanted to focus on 'labelling' types of people, and how this can have a detrimental effect on their self-esteem and individuality.
They worked together to create an informative and entertaining assembly that highlighted the idea of 'status-quo' and most importantly, how it's okay to be yourself and follow your aspirations. They explained that being part of a group is fantastic for many reasons, but recognising and encouraging a variety of strengths, interests and differences among peer groups is very important to everyone's success and happiness.
