World Children's Day at Dover Court

During the week of World Children’s Day, children from Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6 planned and prepared an activity to teach to the younger year groups of Year 1, Year 3 and Year 4. 

This culminated in a ‘flipped classroom’ event where the children from different year groups joined together to either become teachers or learners. The ‘teachers’ enjoyed the opportunity to share their expert knowledge of a range of skills such as sports, origami and crafts. The younger children also thoroughly enjoyed being ‘learners’ and having the chance to try out something new!
