At Etqan Global Academy, our 16 to 18-year-olds work towards either the American High School Diploma or the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP).
Both programmes are academically challenging and rich in character forming experiences. Supported and challenged by specialist teachers, your child will develop specialist knowledge and future-focused skills. This will help them to create a pathway to the university course or career of their choosing.
Our two-year American High School Diploma combines rigorous academics and outstanding teaching with opportunities to specialise through Advanced Placement (AP) courses. We offer a range of subjects and electives, and monitor our students’ progress through regular assessments throughout the year.
Designed to meet the needs of an increasingly global, dynamic, and future-oriented generation, the Diploma is globally recognised and respected. It’s also a springboard to universities in Qatar and across the world.
The IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) is a comprehensive two-year course that equips our students with a wealth of 21st century attributes, specialist knowledge, and global understanding.
Working towards identified education and/or career pathways, our IBCP learners specialise in their chosen academic subjects, engage in learning that makes a positive difference to their community, and think critically and creatively. They also undertake a core programme, including a BTEC qualification, which develops a raft of career-related skills.
