Year 4C Visit the National Show of Animals

28 November 2014

Year 4C were very excited to attend the National Show of Animals in Nitra last week.

We travelled to Nitra and we looked at a huge range of animals.  We learned about many of the animals such as ducks, hens, rabbits, guinea pigs and pigeons.  The animal owners and judges told us what they were bred for and where they came from.  We were also allowed to handle some of the animals but no one wanted to lift up the turkey which weighed over 10kg! We then looked around a really fascinating museum where a school room from the 1900’s and a school room from the 1950’s were recreated.  Year 4C want to say a big thank you to Mr and Mrs Krivosudsky who arranged the trip for us
