DePaul Food Collection at Tesco Lamac by CAS students and staff

12 December 2014

Staff and Students from Year 12 and 13 have taken part in a big service project for DePaul. DePaul is an organisation that works to support the homeless within the city.

The project ran across two Tesco stores; Lamac and Zlate Piesky. We focussed our attention solely on Lamac. Our students provided all the volunteers at the store from Monday, 10th November through to Saturday, 15th November.

They were responsible for over 250 hours of volunteer work in one week, very impressive!
The food collected at the Lamac Tesco store directly by our students and staff is equivalent to...

Monday - 203euros
Tuesday - 478euros
Wednesday - 248euros
Thursday - 504euros
Friday - 482euros
Saturday - 555euros
Total - 2466 euros not including Saturday's
