The students will work collaboratively with other international students from around the world (Ethiopia, Tanzania and various other schools within Europe) to develop their creative expression and study dramatic techniques with experts in the field. One of the highlights of the three days is the final performance which showcases the students’ learning over the weekend.
Last year’s trip was a great success and the students returned excited and full of reasons why Drama is an important part of the curriculum. Here are a few things they had to say from last February:
- "I would recommend an ISTA Festival to anyone, even if you aren't a person who adores drama because you get the chance to discover a new ‘side’ of yourself."
- "The trip to Terezin was an incredible experience and one that I would definitely repeat."
This year’s students have much to look forward to our trip on 3rd - 7th April 2014.
Be sure to read about their experiences in one of our next school newsletters!
