Our Year 9 students this year have once again risen to the challenge, and every student has produced a high quality piece. They explored vocabulary that could be motivational towards cancer patients, and used related imagery to create their pieces. The collection includes drawings, paintings, collages, embroidery and even 3D work. All the work has been framed, thanks to the students who organised bake sales to raise the funds needed for this.
On Wednesday 12th February, the whole collection was displayed in the school cafeteria. We invited Dr Sadovska and the parents of the students to come along and view the work and to meet our young artists. The afternoon was a celebration of their achievements. The work was delivered to the hospital the very next day.
